I have to say authentic fried stinky tofu is really hard to find in the South Bay Area- if you're reading this and you DON'T agree with me please let me know and share some of your go to places! I had a massive craving for it the other day and was struggling to find a place to go to. I had to begrudgingly settle, which is something I had to do because a lack of places for me to frequent. Hand's down my favorite fried stinky tofu would be the one found in night markets in Taiwan, but that is definitely a pricey plane ticket away. Anyways... here are some places that do have it in the South Bay.

  1. Capitol Dumplings

  2. Du Shao Yue

  3. Milk and Honey Cafe

I want to take the time to pay homage to GRAND HARBOR (previously located on Warm Springs Blvd. in Fremont). It's sad to say, but this wonderful Taiwanese restaurant down in early 2019. I want to mention that they had decently priced sticky tofu of fairly high quality. They also had a nice Taiwanese auntie who was always there when we went and very welcoming!
